Teen Killed, Six Injured in Shooting at Los Angeles House Party

LOS ANGELES – Police are searching for a suspect after a teenager was fatally shot and six others were injured during a house party in Woodland Hills early Sunday morning.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting occurred around 1:30 a.m. at a home where 200 to 300 people had gathered. Authorities say an argument broke out, escalating into gunfire. The suspect fired multiple shots into the air before turning the gun on the crowd.

A 16-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the names of the victims, but said the injured individuals range in age from 19 to 34. Five of the victims were transported to the hospital, while another was treated at the scene.
