Judge Orders Restoration of Public Health Web Pages by Midnight

A federal ruling has mandated the restoration of key public health web pages from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) by midnight tonight. Federal Judge John D. Bates issued the order following a hearing on Monday, requiring the Trump administration to act.

These web pages were removed after President Donald Trump’s executive order, which addressed concerns about "gender ideology," a term used by conservative groups to describe certain views on sex and gender. While most of the pages have been down, some, including HIV-related pages, have already been restored ahead of schedule.

The decision marks a significant victory for public access to critical health information. It is expected that all affected web pages will be fully restored by 11:59 PM tonight, ensuring that the public can once again access important resources related to health and disease prevention.
