Exciting Sneak Peek of "Jump, the Ultimate Dog Show" at Riverside County Fair

Day two of the Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival brought even more excitement as Mark Mester and Olivia Sandusky gave viewers a special preview of the popular "Jump, the Ultimate Dog Show." Held several times a day at the fair, the show features rescued dogs performing incredible tricks such as frisbee catching, high jumps, and dock diving. Lou Mack, the mastermind behind the show, joined the hosts with his talented Australian Cattle Dog, Kip, to showcase some of their extraordinary tricks.

"We’re based out of Las Vegas, Nevada, and we’re here for three shows a day," Lou shared. "The shows last about 20 to 25 minutes and include various performances that highlight the athleticism and agility of the dogs."

One of the crowd favorites is the dock diving segment, where dogs run down a ramp and leap into a pool. The world record for this thrilling event is an impressive 34 feet, with some of Lou’s dogs jumping as far as 30 feet. While Kip, his own dog, reaches about 20 feet, it’s clear that his other talents, like performing handstands, are just as impressive.

"We look for dogs that are toy-driven when we visit shelters," Lou explained. "These dogs are obsessed with toys like squeaky toys or frisbees, and we know they’ll be great performers."

Kip wasn't the only star of the day. Bebe, another rescue dog in the show, showed off her frisbee skills, impressing everyone with her incredible leaping ability. Lou also teased a few backflips, much to the audience’s delight.
