Indio Celebrates Date Festival Parade, Riverside County Fair
Indio is celebrating President’s Day today with its much-loved annual parade. The event started at 9 AM and continues to run this morning. The parade route is slightly different this year due to construction on Oasis Street. It begins at Miles Avenue and Town Street and heads towards Highway 111, where it will conclude in front of the Riverside County Fairgrounds.
Speaking of the fair, it is open today from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in observance of the holiday. The fair, running Thursdays through Sundays, will be available to visitors until March 2nd. This family-friendly event features a wide array of attractions, including carnival rides, food stalls, and shows.
Ticket prices are $18 for adults, $12 for children, and $15 for seniors. Veterans and first responders are invited to attend the fair for free. Don’t forget about the $10 parking fee.
A big thank you to everyone who tuned in for the live coverage of Friday’s events – it was a fantastic experience, and the team is grateful for the community’s support. So, if you're looking for a fun way to celebrate the day, the fair is definitely worth a visit.
