Forever Marilyn Statue To Begin Moving This Weekend

The Forever Marilyn Statue In Downtown Palm Springs Will Begin Its Relocation Process On Sunday, February 23rd.

It Comes After A Three-Year Legal Battle Between The City And A Group Called "The Committee To Relocate Marilyn."

The Committee Filed Suit Alleging Palm Springs Illegally Closed Museum Way And Blocked The View Of Palm Springs Art Museum When The 26 Foot Tall,17 Ton Sculpture Was Installed.

The Statue Will Be Moved About 100 Feet Away And The New Installment Should Be Done By Next Friday, February 28th.
