Earlier today, Brett Rosen spoke with the chairwoman of P.S. Resorts about Marilyn’s new home. "Some people are really upset that she’s moving off Museum Way. Other people are just happy that she’s staying here. So I think, overall, it’s a positive thing that Marilyn’s going to stay, and she’ll just be 75 feet into the park," said the chairwoman.

Palm Springs City Council signed off on the agreement, which guarantees Marilyn's presence in the downtown park for the next 25 years, solidifying the statue’s long-term role as a city landmark.

While many locals and tourists alike were out filming and taking pictures of the statue in her new location, the move comes after years of legal disputes, as P.S. Resorts sought a new home for Marilyn.
