Joyce Bulifant and Luke Yankee Talk “The Love Bite” & More in Palm Springs Weekend Entertainment

🎭 Palm Springs is buzzing with entertainment this weekend—and it starts with an exclusive conversation with Joyce Bulifant and Luke Yankee!

On this week's episode of Desert Entertainment, writer-director Luke Yankee and beloved actress Joyce Bulifant sat down to talk about their latest project, "The Love Bite." The staged reading takes place at the Annenberg Theater on Sunday, March 2nd at 12 PM, with proceeds benefiting the Palm Springs Art Museum.

The play centers around a young Irish girl whose mystical hickey (in the shape of Jesus) gives her healing powers, blending humor with heart. Bulifant, who plays the bawdy Irish grandmother, shared her excitement:

"It’s a character that’s outspoken and a little naughty—it’s been such a fun role to play!"

Yankee explained that while the staged reading is set for Sunday, there are discussions about a full production in the future.
