Palm Desert Hosts 18th Annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival This Weekend
The 18th annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival is set to take place this Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM at Civic Center Park in Palm Desert, offering a day of environmental education, art, and outdoor fun.
Hosted by the City of Palm Desert, this free community event aims to promote conservation, environmental stewardship, and appreciation for the desert’s unique landscape. Attendees can explore wildfire displays, shop from local artisans, enjoy food trucks, and sip on craft beer and wine in the garden area.
This year, organizers are introducing new attractions to refresh the festival and attract more visitors. One of the highlights is the Power of Pollinator Garden, where guests can learn about planting, receive free plants to take home, and participate in eco-friendly giveaways.
"We want to make this festival bigger and better every year, and this new pollinator area will help educate and inspire people to take conservation into their own hands," organizers shared.
The family-friendly festival offers something for nature lovers of all ages, making it a must-attend event for those passionate about preserving the Coachella Valley’s natural beauty.
