From Pip to Peep: One of Jackie and Shadow's Eggs Hatched

One of Jackie and Shadow's three eggs from this season has hatched.

On Monday night at around 10:30 p.m., one of the eggs on the Friends of Big Bear Valley cam fully hatched, revealing a new baby bald eagle.

This is the first time an egg from the popular pair has hatched in three years.

There is a pip on a second egg too, suggesting that a second chick will soon emerge.

According to the Friends of Big Bear Valley, this is a multi-day process.
