1923 Returns for Season 2: Behind the Scenes with Manny the Movie Guy
Now, the Agua Caliente Entertainment Report, brought to you by Agua Caliente Casinos.
The Yellowstone prequel 1923 is back for its highly anticipated second season, and Manny the Movie Guy takes us behind the scenes with the cast. Starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren, the series explores the struggles and triumphs of the Dutton family in early 20th-century Montana.
Actress Mamie Fawcett, who plays one of the first female U.S. Marshals, shared how dangerous the profession was at the time, making her character’s role even more compelling. “More U.S. Marshals died in that vocation than any other,” she explained, emphasizing the strength of her character.
The series also introduces Pete Plentyclouds, a character deeply connected to the story’s Indigenous themes. The actor portraying him highlighted the importance of telling an authentic depiction of history on Turtle Island, while still delivering gripping entertainment.
With its intense storytelling and rich historical backdrop, 1923 promises another season full of drama and action. Season 2 of 1923 is now streaming exclusively on Paramount+.
