Chick #3 Hatches! Jackie and Shadow’s Fuzzy Triplets Are Complete

It’s an exciting day as Chick #3 has officially hatched, completing the trio of fluffy bundles Jackie and Shadow have been eagerly awaiting. After much anticipation, Chick #3 worked tirelessly to break free from its shell yesterday, and by the early hours of the morning, the final piece of the shell fell away. By 2:11 AM, the chick was visible, its feathers drying as it adjusted to the world around it. While Chick #3 made its grand entrance, Jackie kept the progress quiet through the night, giving herself some well-deserved rest as the chicks stayed safe beneath her warmth.

At 6:13 AM, Jackie introduced all three chicks to the world during the morning feeding. The trio, fully visible and looking healthy, excitedly jostled for position, all eager to enjoy a well-earned breakfast. Despite being the newest arrival, Chick #3 still has a bit of its yolk to sustain it for the next few days.
