Woman charged with holding stepson captive 20 years

A woman has been charged with holding her stepson captive for over 20 years, starting when he was just 11 years old. Police say she subjected him to extreme abuse, neglect, and starvation, keeping him locked in his room for up to 24 hours a day. At 32, the man managed to escape by setting his room on fire using hand sanitizer and paper, hoping someone would rescue him. Authorities have since taken action, and the woman is facing serious charges.
