An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Friday, March 14, 2025!

Like yesterday, we are tracking yet another frontal boundary which will bring more rain, mountain snow, cool temperatures and gusty on-shore winds to Southern California.

As far as the Coachella Valley is concerned, we could see a few light showers during the middle of the day. But -- for the most part -- we'll be under mostly cloudy skies with midday highs once again stuck in the lower-60s.

A few more inches of snow is expected at The Tram by tonight. A Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for area mountains through 10p this evening.

This disturbance will also trigger strong Westerly winds this afternoon and evening. A Wind Advisory has been posted through very early Saturday morning for the San Gorgonio Pass into the West end of the Valley.

Skies will clear for your Saturday along with highs in the lower-70s. Sunday's temps will peak in the middle-70s, followed by numbers around 80° on St. Patrick's Day afternoon.
