The Palms at La Quinta Senior living celebrates Women's history month

Women’s history month celebrations continue in the valley. On Thursday, the Palms at La Quinta Senior Living inviting guest speakers to share their experience as a woman in their specific industry. NBC Palm Springs anchor Olivia Sandusky was honored to be one of the speakers invited to talk to the residents. She spoke not only about her time as a journalist and her work at NBC palm springs, but also as a college athlete. We heard from the Vibrant Life Director at the Palms, Amber Legowski, about the importance of offering events like this one to our senior community.

"Oftentimes their voices go unheard, the contributions they’ve made go unseen, but we want people to know that here today we say it loud and clear, we see you. We recognize the contributions of the women that came before us, the women who are currently paving the way for our future generations, and just my hope is that we all leave here feeling inspired," Legowski said.

The Palms hosts an event for their residents every month. So again,
