Google Rolls Out Find My Device Update With Real-Time Location Sharing
Google is rolling out a major update to its Find My Device app for Android users, introducing a new People tab that enhances location-sharing capabilities.
With this update, users can now see approved contacts’ real-time locations directly on a map. The app also displays key details, including their current address, distance from you, and the last time their location was refreshed.
This new feature aims to make location tracking more seamless, allowing users to stay connected with family and friends. Whether coordinating meetups or ensuring loved ones’ safety, the People tab provides a more intuitive way to access shared locations without needing third-party apps.
The update is rolling out gradually, so Android users should check for the latest version of Find My Device in the Google Play Store to access the new features.
