Night Construction Underway for Highway 111 Roadway Project Through Thursday
Drivers should prepare for nighttime construction on Highway 111, as work began last night and will continue through Thursday. The project aims to improve road conditions along the Vistachino corridor, covering the stretch from Gene Autry Trail through North Palm Canyon and extending to Gateway Drive.
Construction crews will operate nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., minimizing daytime disruptions for commuters and local traffic. The schedule allows for smoother traffic flow during peak travel hours while crews work to enhance safety and roadway quality during off-peak times.
No construction work is planned for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights, providing weekend relief for drivers and local residents.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, expect possible delays, and adhere to posted detours and signage for a safer commute. The Highway 111 roadway project is a part of ongoing efforts to maintain and upgrade essential transportation infrastructure in the region.
Officials appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to complete this critical improvement project efficiently and safely.
