Local High School Students Shine at Fashion Week with Unique Designs

Excitement filled the air at Fashion Week on El Paseo this year, as students from Desert Hot Springs High School took center stage to showcase their creative outfits at the Student Day event. For months, the students had worked tirelessly on their designs, using an unexpected mix of materials such as fabric, pipe cleaners, and even makeup to give their creations vibrant colors and texture. The outfits, which were fully crafted by the students, were not only a testament to their hard work but also to their innovation and passion for fashion.

One of the students, speaking at the event, shared how exhilarating it was to see their designs on display. “It’s very exciting to let the public see what our class design because it’s not really like a lot of recognition from just our school. Being out in the public, everyone gets to see our design,” they said.
