Thermal Club IndyCar Grand Prix Brings High-Speed Action to the Desert

The Thermal Club IndyCar Grand Prix is revving up the Coachella Valley, marking its official debut on the IndyCar calendar this weekend. After last year’s successful exhibition race, this year’s event promises high-stakes competition as 27 drivers take to the track at The Thermal Club in Thermal, California.

Festivities are already underway at Agua Caliente Casinos in Rancho Mirage, where fans gathered at 360 Sports to celebrate the upcoming race. The event featured meet-and-greets with top drivers, including 2022 Indy 500 champion Marcus Ericsson, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend.

Tim Rogers, founder and owner of The Thermal Club, shared his excitement about bringing world-class racing to the Coachella Valley.

“This is a major opportunity for the valley,” Rogers said. “We employ over 500 people here, supporting local families, and we’ve made a big investment in this event. It was well received last year, and it’s an incredible way to showcase our beautiful desert scenery on a national stage.”

Racing fans can still purchase tickets for the event by visiting ThermalGP.com. Those who prefer to watch from a distance can catch all the races live at 360 Sports inside Agua Caliente Casinos in Rancho Mirage throughout the weekend.

The IndyCar action begins Friday and runs through Sunday, promising a thrilling motorsports experience for fans and a significant boost to the local economy.
