Family of Menendez Brother hold Rally

Today, supporters and family members of Erik and Lyle Menendez held a rally outside Los Angeles County District attorney Nathan Hochman's office. The Menendez brothers were convicted of murder in 1996 for the 1989 deaths of their parents. They admitted shooting their parents to death, but said it was in self-defense claiming they feared for their lives after years of sexual and physical abuse. The family-led 'justice for Erik and Lyle' initiative supports the brothers and hosted the rally. Last week, district attorney Hochman announced he's asking the court to withdraw his predecessor's motion for resentencing the brothers. Hochman said the brothers have persisted in what he called lies about their self-defense claim.
