Palm Springs Village Fest Celebrates 33rd Anniversary with Food, Music, and Fun

PALM SPRINGS – The Palm Springs Village Fest is kicking off its 33rd anniversary tonight with an exciting mix of food, music, and community celebrations. As the festival prepares to open at 6 p.m., attendees can expect a lively atmosphere filled with local vendors, delicious food, and live entertainment.

Chloe Carlson, reporting live from Village Fest, highlighted the diverse food offerings, one of the festival’s main attractions. "You can skip dinner tonight because Village Fest has plenty of amazing food options," Chloe shared.

One standout vendor, Robert, has been serving his famous tamales at Village Fest for over three to four years. His menu features savory options like chicken, beef, pork, and sweet corn, as well as unique sweet choices like pineapple and strawberry. "A lot of people come from all over just for our tamales," Robert noted, emphasizing the significance of Village Fest to his business.

Another must-visit food spot is the churro vendor, who not only serves traditional churros made fresh on-site but also offers café de olla—coffee roasted, ground, and brewed on the spot, a specialty with historical roots in Mexico. The vendor proudly claims to be the only place in California, and possibly the U.S., to prepare coffee this way at a festival.

Alongside the food, attendees can enjoy live music and a festive atmosphere as Palm Springs' downtown comes alive for the celebration. The festival showcases the strong sense of community and support for local businesses, drawing visitors from near and far.

The Comfort Air seven-day forecast promises a warm weekend, with temperatures climbing into the high 80s and even touching the high 90s early next week. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared for the heat but assured it won’t last long.

Village Fest’s 33rd anniversary promises to be a memorable evening filled with culinary delights, music, and community spirit. Don’t miss the chance to experience the best of Palm Springs tonight!
