Tesla Recalls Over 46,000 Cybertrucks Due to Loose Trim Panel Risk
Tesla has issued a recall for over 46,000 Cybertruck vehicles due to a safety issue that could pose a hazard on the road. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the stainless steel exterior trim panel on some Cybertrucks may detach while driving, creating potential risks for other vehicles.
The recall applies to Cybertrucks manufactured between November 2023 and February 2024. Owners of affected vehicles will be able to have the trim panel’s rail assembly repaired at no cost.
Tesla has advised Cybertruck owners to contact their nearest service center for repairs and has stated that it is working on a permanent fix to prevent similar issues in the future.
For more information on the recall and repair process, visit Tesla’s official website or check with the NHTSA for updates.
