16th Annual Pink Week Kicks Off at Monterey Country Club to Support Desert Cancer Foundation

Monterey Country Club Launches Pink Week with Pink Walk to Support Cancer Survivors

The 16th annual Pink Week at the Monterey Country Club kicked off today with a heartfelt Pink Walk, marking the start of several days filled with activities like tennis, pickleball, bocce ball, and golf on Monday. The event’s primary goal is to support the Desert Cancer Foundation, honoring those who have battled cancer, those who have lost their lives to the disease, and current survivors.

Participants and supporters gathered early in the day to take part in the walk, with community members and guests coming together to show their support. “It truly kicks off the heart and soul of Pink Week,” an organizer shared, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and supporting cancer survivors and those affected by cancer.

The event continues over the next few days with various sports and community activities, all contributing to the Desert Cancer Foundation’s mission. Those interested in participating or donating can visit the Desert Cancer Foundation’s website for more information.
