Buchanan Fire Burns 25 Acres in Thermal, 25% Contained
A wildfire, now being referred to as the Buchanan Fire, is currently burning in Thermal, California. As of this evening, approximately 25 acres have been scorched, and officials report that the fire is 25% contained. The fire, which is spreading at a moderate pace, is being fueled by the area's heavy vegetation, making it a challenge for firefighters to control.
