Three Injured, Eight Displaced After Garage Fire in Desert Hot Springs
A fire in a garage on Cahuilla Avenue in Desert Hot Springs has left three people injured and eight others without a home. The Riverside County Fire Department responded to the fire early this morning at around 6:00 AM. The flames were intense, as seen in a photo from the scene, and quickly spread within the garage area.
Two of the injured individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by fire officials. Meanwhile, the American Red Cross has stepped in to assist those who have been displaced by the fire, helping them find temporary housing.
Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported, but the impact of the fire has left several people in need of support. The community continues to rally behind those affected, and authorities are working to determine the cause of this devastating incident.
