Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage Partners with Olive Crest for Giving Tuesdays to Support Children in Crisis
The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage is joining forces with nonprofit organization Olive Crest for a new local initiative that brings dining and giving together—Giving Tuesdays.
Held at the resort’s State Fair Bar and Kitchen, the program donates $5 from every dinner entrée sold each Tuesday to Olive Crest, a nonprofit that works to prevent child abuse and restore families in crisis.
“If you love children, this is just going to warm your heart,” said Nicole Kent, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage. “You’re playing a part in helping the children of the Coachella Valley.”
Olive Crest is known for its dedication to protecting children and strengthening families by preventing neglect, isolation, and human trafficking. The organization provides vital resources to families in crisis, helping them stabilize and heal.
“When the Ritz-Carlton revealed we would benefit from their generosity, I couldn’t be more excited and thankful,” said an Olive Crest representative. “Every penny raised in the desert stays in the desert.”
The first Giving Tuesday event will take place on Tuesday, March 25, beginning at 5 p.m. Guests simply need to purchase a dinner entrée to participate in the cause.
The initiative will continue on one Tuesday each month for the rest of the year, providing ongoing support to local children and families.
“For me personally, Olive Crest really touches my heart,” Kent said. “Their mission mirrors the spirit of hospitality we value at the Ritz-Carlton—offering love and care, even to strangers.”
