AmDocs Film Fest features Olivia's reports on Salton Sea and local Native American Tribes
Olivia Sandusky's special reports are being included in this year's AmDocs Film Festival!
Her work titled "Restoring the Salton Sea" explains the challenges facing the state's largest body of water. Throughout this report, you'll learn more about developing wetlands, lithium extraction and the ten-year plan to restore the sea. This piece airs Saturday at noon at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.
"Tribes of the Coachella Valley" explores the history of the Cahuilla and Chemehuevi Tribes that have called the region home for thousands of years. You'll hear first hand accounts about their past, present and future, and learn more about the traditions that make them unique. This report airs Monday at 11 AM.
Both reports are 45 minutes long. Olivia would love to see you there!
