Baltimore Key Bridge Collapse 1 Year Anniversary

March 26th marks one year since the cargo ship 'Dali' slammed into Baltimore's Francis Scott key bridge causing it to collapse. Six construction workers were killed in the accident. Debris from the bridge rained down into the Patapsco river... And also landed on the Dali's deck causing significant damage to the ship. The port of Baltimore was blocked in the wake of the collapse for weeks until a limited access shipping lane was eventually opened on may 9th. Explosives had to be used to remove some large portions of the bridge. A preliminary report from the NTSB in may of last year said the ship lost power multiple times in the 10 hours before it hit the bridge, including one outage about five minutes before the collision.
