Weekend Workout with David Lyons: Chest, Back & Shoulders

it’s time for our weekend workout with David Lyons! Get ready for day one of a three-day workout series that will focus on chest, back, and shoulders. David kicks things off with Andrew demonstrating the chest press, using a resistance band anchored at the top of a door. Andrew pushes the band out, crossing over his body with each arm, holding for four seconds to flex and activate the chest muscles.

Next up, Andrew moves on to the back exercise. With his legs wide, he stands on the resistance band, creating resistance. The band is crossed, and Andrew pulls one side at a time, activating his back muscles with each pull. He holds each pull for four seconds, ensuring full contraction in the back muscles before switching to the other side.

For the final exercise of day one, Andrew demonstrates shoulder activation. Standing on the resistance band, his arms are positioned to cross over his body, working the front and side shoulders. Each arm crosses over with controlled movements, holding for four seconds. This exercise wraps up day one of the weekend workout, with a focus on strength and activation in the upper body.
