Sunnylands Offering Paid Internships for College Students in Rancho Mirage

College students looking for paid work this fall now have a unique opportunity in the Coachella Valley.

Sunnylands Center and Gardens in Rancho Mirage is currently accepting applications for its 2025–2026 internship program, which runs from September through June. Selected interns will serve as tour guides, leading visitors through the historic estate, gardens, and expansive grounds.

The program is open to students seeking both paid experience and university credit, and it aims to support Sunnylands' broader educational mission.

Interns will receive hands-on training and gain valuable public-speaking and interpretive skills while engaging with visitors from around the world. The initiative also allows students to deepen their understanding of art, architecture, diplomacy, and environmental stewardship.
