Protest Set to Occur in Palm Springs As Part of National Hands Off Mass Mobilization Saturday
PALM SPRINGS (CNS) - A protest is scheduled in Palm Springs tomorrow
to push back against the Trump administration's spending cuts and mass layoffs.
Courageous Resistance and Indivisible of the Desert will host its
``Hands Off!'' protest at Palm Springs City Hall, at 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon
Way at 10 a.m. Saturday, organizers said.
Similar demonstrations will be held elsewhere across Southern
California and nationwide, and will feature numerous organizations, including
the League of Women Voters, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and the ACLU,
according to the Hands Off! website.
``Donald Trump and Elon Musk think this country belongs to them. We're
taking to the streets nationwide to fight back with a clear message: `Hands
Off!','' according to the Indivisible of the Desert website. Online
registration is required.
