Man Pleads Not Guilty in Goose Case
A man accused of killing a goose back in February has pleaded not guilty to felony charges.
That’s where we begin this evening.
72-year-old Palm Desert resident Michael Sean McCutchin was arraigned on Friday.
He faces felony animal cruelty charges.
McCutchin appeared at the Larson Justice Center in Indio.
There, he entered a not guilty plea.
He’s accused of beating a Canada goose to death.
The alleged incident happened on February 25th.
It took place at the Chaparral Country Club.
Animal rights advocates have expressed outrage over the case.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
McCutchin is due back in court on June 27th at 8:30 a.m.
