The summer movie season is kicking off strong, and May is delivering a blockbuster lineup that spans superheroes, thrillers, animation, and nostalgia.
The action begins on May 2 with the long-awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Thunderbolts, debuting alongside the western Rust, starring Alec Baldwin.
On May 9, Kerry Washington and Omar Sy star in the action-packed Shadow Force, a survival thriller about two former agents betrayed by their own organization.
May 16 delivers chills and suspense with Hurry Up Tomorrow, a psychological thriller led by The Weeknd and Jenna Ortega, and the horror franchise expands with Final Destination: Bloodlines.
The Memorial Day box office gets crowded with two major titles: Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch adaptation and Tom Cruise’s explosive return in Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning.
And to close out the month, fans of martial arts cinema get a nostalgic treat. On May 30, Karate Kid Legends hits theaters, uniting Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio in a new chapter of the beloved franchise.
