Florida Becomes Second State To Ban Fluoride In Drinking Water

Florida has become the second state to ban fluoride in public drinking water. Thursday, Governor Ron Desantis signed the Florida Farm Bill. The legislation bans the use of any additive in a public water system that doesn't meet the new definition of water quality additive.

Desantis said forcing fluoride into the water supply is basically forcing medication on people. According to Florida's surgeon general -- more than 70% of residents who use community water systems receive water with added fluoride. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior has pledge to roll back the CDC's recommendations that fluoride be added to municipal drinking water.
