Cathedral City Honors Two Outstanding Seniors with Street Signs in Their Name
Cathedral City has continued a heartwarming annual tradition—honoring two graduating seniors by naming city intersections after them. This tribute celebrates students who exemplify excellence in academics, leadership, and service to their school communities.
This year, Diego Jauregui from Mount San Jacinto High School and Kimberly Rodriguez Nunez from Cathedral City High School were recognized with this prestigious honor.
The intersection of Landau Boulevard and McCallum Way was officially named after Diego Jauregui. A few minutes later, the intersection of Date Palm Drive and Dave Kelley Road was dedicated to Kimberly Rodriguez Nunez.
These street dedications not only celebrate the accomplishments of Diego and Kimberly but also serve as a source of pride and inspiration for the entire Cathedral City community.
