Beach Boys Co-founder Brian Wilson Dead At 82

One of the co-founders and members of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson has died. Wilson's family announced his passing on the music icon's official website.

A cause of death was not released. In 1961 Wilson and his cousin mike love wrote the song "Surfin." The pair later recorded the song with the Wilson's brothers along with Al Jardine.

The group later became known as the Beach Boys. Wilson was known as the creative force behind the iconic band's surf sound. In 2023 Rolling Stone Magazine named Wilson one of the 200 greatest singers of all time.
