Desert Hot Springs to Open First Veterinary Clinic with Grand Opening on July 9

A major milestone for pet owners in Desert Hot Springs—next week marks the grand opening of the Desert Community Animal Center, the city’s first veterinary clinic.

The center officially opens on July 9 and will be operated by Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies, the same organization behind the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

This new facility will provide low-cost veterinary services, filling a crucial gap in care as the only vet clinic in Desert Hot Springs and one of just a few affordable options in the entire Coachella Valley.

The clinic aims to improve access to pet healthcare, particularly for underserved communities in the region.
