Small Fire Quickly Contained at Cathedral Canyon Country Club

A small fire sparked today at the Cathedral Canyon Country Club in Cathedral City, burning several palm trees located behind HOA #1 and the Hyatt Vacation Club at Desert Oasis.

The Cathedral City Fire Department responded quickly to the scene, containing the flames before they could spread to nearby structures. Officials confirmed there were no injuries and no property damage reported.

Witnesses say the fire appeared to be concentrated in the palm trees and was brought under control within minutes of firefighters arriving. Crews remained on site briefly to ensure no hotspots remained.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
