Desert Hot Springs Motorcycle Crash Victim Remembered at Vigil

More than 100 family members and friends gathered Wednesday evening at the site of a fatal motorcycle crash in Desert Hot Springs to honor 21-year-old Christopher Ventura.

Ventura died Saturday morning when his motorcycle crashed near the intersection of Palm Drive and Dillon Road. The vigil was held at the crash site, where the community came together to pay their respects.

Following the tragic incident, Ventura's family plans to approach city officials about implementing safety measures to prevent future accidents on local streets.
