Palm Springs Public Library Opens Temporary Location at Rimrock Plaza

The Palm Springs Public Library has officially opened the doors to its temporary location at Rimrock Plaza. Library Director Jeannie Kays and her team, with support from the city’s Public Works Department, worked to create the new space to serve visitors during the multi-year renovation of the library’s permanent home.

City officials say an official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held soon, with the date to be announced in the coming days.

All regular library programs will continue to be available at the Rimrock Plaza location, ensuring residents have uninterrupted access to services, books, and community events while the main library undergoes upgrades through 2027.
