“The Roses” is a sharp satire about marriage, greed, and love, with humor woven into relatable conflicts many couples face. The story explores themes of long-term relationships, balancing career ambitions with childcare responsibilities, and how complicated love can become over time.
In his interview, Manny spoke with the cast about the characters and their dynamic energy on screen. Actress Amy described her role as a “delicious trickster” — manipulative yet charismatic, a character she embraced because of the chance to play someone who is “awful in a fun way.”
