New ‘Dish Detective’ Challenge Offers Coachella Valley Foodies a Chance to Win $100 Gift Card

It’s the week of October 6th, and NBC Palm Springs is serving up another round of its popular food mystery segment, Dish Detective, alongside local food reviewers Dining with the Davids. Each week, viewers are challenged to identify a mystery restaurant based on three delicious video clues. Those who guess correctly are entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card to that restaurant.

Last week’s featured eatery was Kiki’s in La Quinta. This week’s clues highlight a buttery pistachio croissant filled with rich pistachio cream, a capri sandwich made with freshly baked sourdough, mozzarella, and housemade pesto, and a delicate coconut cake with vanilla frosting and coconut cream.

To enter, viewers can head over to the NBC Palm Springs Instagram page, watch the latest Dish Detective video, and leave their guess in the comments by Thursday at noon. To qualify, participants must also follow both NBC Palm Springs and Dining with the Davids on Instagram.

The winner and the mystery restaurant will be revealed during Friday morning’s newscast on NBC Palm Springs.
