Ozempic and Wegovy Now Available at Costco for $499 a Month
Novo Nordisk, the maker of Ozempic and Wegovy, announced that the popular prescription medications will now be sold at Costco pharmacies nationwide.
Both drugs, known for their effectiveness in managing diabetes and promoting weight loss, will be available to Costco members with or without insurance. The company confirmed that a four-week supply of either medication will cost $499 out of pocket for uninsured customers, while members with coverage will pay based on their individual insurance plans.
Ozempic and Wegovy have seen surging demand in recent years as more Americans seek medical options for weight management and diabetes control. The move to sell them at Costco marks an expansion in accessibility, bringing the medications to one of the country’s largest retail pharmacy networks.
The retailer has not yet confirmed which store locations will begin offering the drugs first, but Novo Nordisk says distribution will roll out to additional Costco pharmacies over the coming weeks.
