Palm Springs Ben & Jerry’s Supports Farmworkers Rights with “Waffle Lotta Good” Campaign

Ben & Jerry’s in Palm Springs is giving locals another reason to indulge their sweet tooth all for a good cause.

From Oct. 21 through Nov. 4, it's participating in the nationwide “Waffle Lotta Good” initiative, where one dollar from every waffle cone sold will benefit Migrant Justice, a Vermont-based farmworker-led organization advocating for fair treatment and dignified working conditions in the dairy industry.

Migrant Justice is the group behind the Milk with Dignity Program, which partners with major dairy brands to promote human rights and equitable labor practices.

Now in its eighth year, the Waffle Lotta Good campaign reflects Ben & Jerry’s long-standing commitment to social and economic justice.

Local shop owners in Palm Springs say community engagement is at the heart of what they do, and they’re proud to take part in an initiative that connects ice cream lovers to meaningful change.

Last year, Ben & Jerry’s raised $150,000 nationwide through similar efforts — funds that helped advance grassroots programs supporting equity and justice across the country.
