Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade Returns Sunday with "California Dreaming" Theme

The 61st Annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade will take place Sunday on El Paseo, featuring Hockey Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr as grand marshal.

The parade begins at noon, with pre-parade activities starting at 8 a.m. with a Rotary pancake breakfast. At 9 a.m., attendees can visit marketplace booths, a family fun zone, food trucks, and displays of classic cars and custom golf carts.

The parade will include skydivers, a flyover from the Palm Springs Air Museum, marching bands, dance troupes, and decorated golf carts. NBC Palm Springs Sports Director Tim O'Brien will help introduce Fuhr during the event.

An after-party at Hotel Paseo runs from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring live music and food.

The parade marks the 61st year of the community tradition on El Paseo in Palm Desert.
