Rancho Mirage Highlights Growth and Fiscal Strength at State of the City Address
The City of Rancho Mirage held its State of the City address earlier today at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa, where city leaders reflected on major projects and goals shaping the community’s future.
Mayor Ted Weill, along with city council members, addressed nearly 400 attendees, outlining Rancho Mirage’s continued focus on economic growth and fiscal responsibility.
Weill highlighted two top priorities — the Disney Cotino development, described as one of the largest master-planned communities in the city’s history, and affordable housing initiatives to help local workers live closer to their jobs.
The mayor also noted that all city projects undergo thorough environmental impact reports, ensuring responsible development that accounts for traffic, noise and safety.
Weill added that Rancho Mirage remains financially strong, with sales and hotel tax revenues continuing to drive the city’s success.
