Agua Caliente Band Hosts Annual Bird Song and Dance Festival Saturday in Palm Springs

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is hosting its annual Singing the Birds: Bird Song and Dance Festival on Saturday, January 24, at Palm Springs High School.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and brings together bird singers and dancers from tribes across Southern California and the Southwest. Performances are scheduled throughout the day, giving visitors a chance to experience and learn about the region's Native American heritage.

Alongside the singing and dancing, a Native American Market will feature jewelry, clothing, basketry, pottery, and textiles from Native-owned businesses throughout the Southwest. A food court will offer BBQ, fry bread, tacos, shave ice, and other items for purchase.

Admission is free and open to all ages. Those interested can RSVP at aguacaliente.org/singingthebirds.
