Tastes & Sounds of Cathedral City Boosts Community and Local Businesses

The Tastes & Sounds of Cathedral City series is officially underway, bringing music lovers and foodies together every Tuesday evening at the Cathedral City Community Amphitheater.

The seasonal event pairs local artists with area restaurants, creating a lively atmosphere filled with free live music and a variety of food options. City leaders say it’s all about celebrating local talent and strengthening community connections.

Councilmember Rita Lamb says each week features a different theme, keeping the experience fresh while highlighting the creativity within Cathedral City.

Beyond the entertainment, the event is also delivering a noticeable economic impact. Nearby businesses like Luchador Brewing Company report increased foot traffic on event nights, with new customers discovering the brewery after attending concerts. Owners say they’ve even added extra staff to keep up with demand.

The series runs through early April, giving residents and visitors plenty of opportunities to experience the tastes and sounds of Cathedral City.
