Act for MS Hosts 4th Annual Golf Tournament in Palm Desert
Golfers and supporters gathered in Palm Desert today for the fourth annual Act for MS fundraising tournament.
The event teed off at noon at Palm Valley Country Club and featured a silent auction, dinner, and live entertainment for guests and players.
ACT for MS was founded to improve the quality of life for people living with multiple sclerosis. The organization offers strength training and cardiovascular programs, educational seminars, mental health support, and assistance with mobility equipment.
Norma Greer says all funds raised from the tournament will go directly toward supporting clients and expanding services, including personal training sessions and aquatic therapy programs expected to resume when the local aquatic center reopens.
Act for MS was founded in 1998 by its co-founder Greer after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in her 40s. The organization continues to serve individuals across the Coachella Valley living with MS.
