Cyclist Critically Injured in Palm Springs Crash

A cyclist is in critical condition following a collision with a vehicle in Palm Springs Tuesday morning.

According to the Palm Springs Police Department, officers responded around 8:30 a.m. to the area of Highway 111 and Tramway Road for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.

The cyclist was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition. Authorities say the driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.

Highway 111 was temporarily closed following the crash but reopened shortly after 11 a.m. The investigation remains ongoing.
