Coachella Pop-Ups Transform Valley Into Interactive Playground Beyond Festival Grounds
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival may be famous for its music, but across the Coachella Valley, the celebration extends far beyond the main stage.
From Cabazon to Cathedral City to Indio, streets are lined with vibrant pop-ups offering festivalgoers and locals an immersive experience filled with art, food, and fan engagement.
One standout activation is the “Pit Stop” pop-up by Sabrina Carpenter, located at the corner of Highway 111 and Rubidoux Street in Indio. The retro-themed space features pastel-colored sets inspired by her music videos, including a replica van from her latest release. Fans can snap photos, enjoy themed treats, and shop exclusive merchandise while building excitement ahead of her performance.
“It feels like stepping into her world,” one fan shared. “She’s so creative — I’m excited to see what she brings to the stage.” Sabrina Carpenter's Pit Stop pop up will be open Saturday, April 11th, from 11am-1pm and 4-8pm, and Sunday, April 12th, from 12-3pm.
Elsewhere in Indio, a towering installation promoting an upcoming film starring Tom Cruise has become an unmissable roadside attraction, drawing visitors eager for Instagram-worthy moments.
In Cathedral City, the Bloom pop-up offers a different vibe, blending street art with interactive fashion. Guests can design custom airbrushed apparel, participate in giveaways, and sample energy drinks in a lively, music-filled setting.
Meanwhile, in Cabazon, food lovers are flocking to the Maruchan ramen pop-up, where a massive noodle-themed tunnel leads to a tasting experience featuring flavors like chicken, chili lime shrimp, and a spicy collaboration option.
Whether attending the festival or simply exploring the valley, these pop-ups are open to everyone, turning the region into a vibrant playground of creativity and community.
